Hello. My name is Eliron Hamburger, founder of Befitting, PBC, and I’m determined to create homes and neighborhoods that are good to grow old in.
I was drawn to serve an aging community after hearing a guest lecture by Jon Pynoos, Ph.D. and Victor Regnier FAIA in a macroeconomics class. I still remember the emphasis they gave to the smallest details, like the need for elevator audible signals to take into account people with age-related hearing loss. The deep love and associated concern I had for my own grandparents felt seen by these two professionals. Soon thereafter I matriculated at the University of Southern California where I earned a Master of Arts in Urban and Regional Planning and a Master of Science in Gerontology.
